Alright! Now this is where it begins to get fun!
This is when I get to start documenting exactly how much of a fuck up I am! Now I’m no genius, and I have about the memory of a goldfish on bath salts. But I’m sure there was some super smart person not that long ago that said “You can’t possibly begin to know where you’re going without first knowing exactly where you are!”. Makes perfect sense to my dumb ass. Say you wanted to go to Hawaii. Why don’t you purchase a plane ticket departing from Jordan? Or Egypt? Or fucking Antarctica? Well, probably because you know there aren’t any direct flights from those places. Also because you’ve researched where you are and where you need to be in order to catch a direct flight to Hawaii. As terrible of an analogy as that was, my point is we need to know exactly where we are FIRST, in order to move in the direction we want to go. So that’s what I’m going to accomplish here today. Hopefully by the end of this post, I will have a crystal clear idea of my financial situation. As embarrassing as it may be, It’s important I lay out my details so it’s easier to carve out the next steps moving forward.
